Neuromonitoring during trigeminal schwannoma surgery.

Dr. Faisal Jahangiri and his student, Rabehah Asdi, in the #BBS Applied Cognition and Neuroscience program at #UTDallas, recently published a paper about neuromonitoring during trigeminal schwannoma surgery. IONM of the cranial nerves innervating the extraocular muscles is highly beneficial in preventing any injuries to these nerves intraoperatively.
