Our continuing education programs are designed to optimize patient care, providing the most up to date information and techniques to help our technologists maintain, develop, and increase their knowledge, skills and professional performance. We offer resources that include a wide range of CME activities that foster lifelong learning.

AXIS technologists, physicians, and surgeons work together, learning from each other to advance the science and the quality of medical care.

Our clinical guidelines are amongst those of the highest level in the industry. Every one of our technologists are members of ASET and are either board certified or pursuant in their CNIM or R.EP T certification from ABRET.

AXIS Neuromonitoring complies with all rules and regulations set by local, state and federal agencies. We also follow the standards demanded by Joint Commission, AORN, and professional organizations in our field such as ABRET, ASET, ACNS, and ASNM.

Even the experts in our billing department are pursuant in or have obtained their certificates including Certified Medical Coder from the Practice Management Institute, Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist from the American Medical Billing Association, and Certified Billing and Coding Specialist from the National HealthCareer Association.

Axis does the legwork to prepare for denied insurance claims up front, prior to surgery. We know it is likely our patients will need this type of support, so we prepare on their behalf.

How We Operate

I have had a policy holder and the patient call us when their insurance denied her claim as not medically necessary. The husband said he wanted to help us fight the insurance before we even got the denial because the “surgeon had proclaimed that the neuromonitoring had caught someone kind of malfunction during the surgery and without it the patient could have easily lost some or all feeling in her hands.” The surgery was not a long surgery, it was just a difficult surgery, because of where the lesion on the spine was located.
