Baylor Scott & White, BCBS Texas facing July 1 split

Dallas-based Baylor Scott & White Health and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas will be out of network on July 1 without a new contract in place.
If no reimbursement agreement is reached, a split would affect commercial, Medicare Advantage and managed Medicaid enrollees across all BSWH facilities, including 51 hospitals and more than 800 care facilities. A split would also affect BCBS members in other states.
