DFW Hospital Council president implores for help with healthcare

Steve Love, president of the Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council, sees many things happening in the future of healthcare in Texas, but he knows in order to move forward, everyone needs to do their part.
From doctors to hospitals and even to patients themselves, everyone must take time and do their part to alert lawmakers of what’s needed. One example he gives is finding out which cities don’t have smoke-free ordinances to protect nonsmokers from the known and provable hazards of secondhand smoke.
He says that preventative healthcare is a bipartisan issue, so putting politics aside is a must. Everyone benefits when the populace is healthy.
