MACRA pushed back
By Admin | August 08, 2016
The federal government is considering delaying MACRA because independent practices argue they will not be able to complete the necessary additional paperwork without impacting patients or joining larger hospital groups.
Originally scheduled to rollout January 1, 2017, a new date has yet to be reported. But the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has dispatched teams of administrators to talk to physicians and assess what can be done to help physicians and independent practices comply with the new CMS rules.
