President Trump promises healthcare changes

Since Congress hasn’t been able to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, as promised, President Trump is now taking it upon himself with an executive order that he recently teased at a meeting with former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger.
Trump mentioned that the deal would allow people to shop for insurance across state lines, a provision already available in the ACA that insurance companies haven’t cared to use, as well as “take care of a big percentage of the people we’re talking about.”
There’s much speculation about what the executive order will entail, including the availability of short-term catastrophic insurance and cheaper, less comprehensive plans.
