The Influence of Intraoperative Technology on Neurosurgery Training

Intraoperative technology (IOT) is an expanding field designed to produce better patient outcomes and decrease iatrogenic injury. Neurosurgical residents often encounter these machines in the operating room. Therefore, our primary objective was to assess the influence of IOT on neurosurgery residents’ surgical skills and training.

How We Operate

As the credentialing coordinator, there are many times when the department is called upon to ensure a tech and reader are admitted to a hospital in order to assist a surgeon with a last-minute surgical case. By providing required documents in a timely manner, the patient benefits in the end by receiving the best possible care. This follows the Axis Mission Statement of ‘Patient First’.
